UK Charts: Need for Speed guns down Kurt Cobain

It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Yes, this week’s UK Charts are here once again to remind us all that the British public can’t stop buying Mario Kart Wii. This week, Guitar Hero 5 has been knocked off the top slot after just a week by EA’s Need for Speed: Shift. Looks like EA called shotgun on that chart position.

Wet debuts at number six, which is surprising, but other than it’s the usual run of games you’ve come to expect. Plenty of sports games and big franchises that just refuse to leave the charts no matter how old they are. You’d think such a small country would get sick of the same old titles.

Hit the jump for the usual.
