Two Guys from Andromeda return to Earth

Classic adventure game fans have really been spoiled since this Kickstarter craze took off. Double Fine's working on tickling our funnybones, Larry Laffer is getting to hit on women again and Jane Jensen has returned to provide us with more metaphysical, supernatural mysteries. Now, the Two Guys from Andromeda, aka Mark Crowe and Scott Murphy, have jumped into the arena. These fine chaps are notably the brains behind the Space Quest series, the adventures of inept janitor Roger Wilco.

After 20 years (bloody hell) away from the industry, Mark and Scott have joined forces once more and created their own development studio, Guys from Andromeda. Now they're working to bring the world another hilarious space adventure for PC, Mac, iOS and Android, which they plan to release simultaneously on all those platforms. It's already off to a good start, since they've got the wonderful Gary Owens, voice of Space Ghost and the narrator from Space Quest 4 and 6, to lend his vocal chords to the project.

On top of playable demos, behind the scenes videos and wallpapers for all there are a ton of pledge tiers and rewards. For the love of god, someone give me $5000 so I can get Gary Owens to record a message written by me. I must have this for my voicemail! For $7,500 Mark will draw an alien version of you, a copy of which you'll get for yourself, and it will also feature on the games box art. The lowest tier of $15 nets you a DRM free copy of the game available for download on whatever platform takes your fancy, a bunch of wallpapers, dev diaries and a thank you message written by the Space Quest Historian.

The Two Guys from Andromeda are looking for $500,000 by June 12, they already have $110,000 and the campaign is still pretty young, this is one I'm feeling pretty confident about. Now go and throw money at them! Do it!
