Two free Steam weekends, cheap GTA, and more

Some things are happening on Steam right now, and they might be relevant to your interests. First up, we’ve got a double shot of “free weekend” promos. Shattered Horizon and Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West are both free to try out from now until 1:00 PM PDT on Sunday. They’re also on sale, too: $9.99 and $7.49, respectively.

What’s more, a lovely selection of older Grand Theft Auto titles have been marked down. I’m not even going to break out the individual prices; just know that they’re dirt cheap. Similarly, Supreme Commander 2 has also seen a slash in price. You can get it for roughly the amount it costs to order a man-sized meal at your fast food establishment of choice.

Finally — and you can thank me for pointing this out later — Farming Simulator 2011 is 17 percent off. Morbid curiosity might get the better of me on this one, guys. Sure was nice knowing you.
