THQ Nordic adds Alone in the Dark to its growing catalog

It's amassing quite the collection

THQ Nordic hasn't stopped making moves. The company recently picked up the rights to Kingdoms of Amalur and my dear sweet TimeSplitters. Today, it's adding two more IPs to its list: the underutilized survival horror series Alone in the Dark, and the real-time strategy game Act of War.

Some of THQ Nordic's properties are ripe for remastering, but in the case of Alone in the Dark, it's time for a proper new installment that lives up to the series' original promise. Forget the 2008 game.

There are multiple notable Lovecraftian games in production right now. What's one more?
