This Star Citizen multiplayer crew gameplay demo looks amazing!

Suit up, gather your crew, and head into space in this latest Star Citizen demonstration

Chris Roberts' ambitious space trading and combat simulator Star Citizen has come a long way since its crowdfunding beginnings back in 2012.

In this latest footage from gamescom 2014, Roberts and his staff demonstrate how multiplayer crew gameplay will work with three people operating the ship and one person manning a cinematic camera.

The footage looks incredible, if not a bit disorienting when seeing it on so many screens at once. If you're interested, the full twenty minutes of the Twitch stream recorded from the event can be found here.

What do you think, backers? Is Star Citizen giving you your money's worth?
