This Space Ark thing could be pretty cool

I have my eye on Space Ark. From Strawdog Studios, makers of theGeon series, it’s a paddle-type block-breaking game. That alone won’t win it any awards for originality or anything but one of my favorite games of this type is an arcade number called Plump Pop that I played on the Taito Legends collection. Wound up being my favorite game in the whole collection.

Space Ark has that same vibe for me. A little bit kookier spin on the Breakout formula, I guess. And those bonus levels look like a lot of fun. Hopefully we’ll see the game appear on Xbox Live Arcade in the next few months.
