This pixel sword and shield in Hyrule Warriors is just terrific


Challenge mode also incoming

Hyrule Warriors is already out in Japan, though we have about a month left to go here in North America. Drat. An early update for the game scheduled to go live in Japan on September 1 will add a Challenge mode, the ability to swap the background music, and bug fixes.

Also, that glorious The Legend of Zelda throwback sword and shield. So goofy, so good.

Struggling to think of games I'm more eager to get my hands on this year. Few, if any.
