This is what Lan Di looks like in Shenmue III before you bash his face in

Shenmue III, the game, the mystery, the project with a release date of August 27, 2019. Will it last? No one knows, but with over seven million Kickstarter dollars on the line it should probably come out at some point.

To be frank I'm okay with the mystery as it pertains to plot details, but I wouldn't mind seeing more actual in-game updates like this glorious Lan Di model. Shared by Cedric Biscay on Twitter (who is working on the game as a producer through the company he co-founded, Shibuya Productions), he notes that there is "so much more to come" at the Magic Monaco event on March 9. He urges fans to follow Shibuya Productions on Twitter for news updates.

For those of you who haven't played the series, Lan Di (real name Longsun Zhao) is the main villain who murders protagonist Ryo's father at the start of the narrative. We're expecting closure for Lan Di's act after being left hanging for 18 years: so it's great that he's front and center.
