These new Splatoon maps look like good fun

The squids are all right

Splatoon isn't done giving out content, which is great, because many of us aren't done playing.

The next major update is going to be a pair of maps: Ancho-V Games and Piranha Pit. One is set in a swanky office with raisable platforms (like in the excellent single-player), while the other is a ramp-filled quarry surrounded by water. It's great to see those design elements migrate over.

Even if you're ambivalent, you should still watch this video. There's a dance routine!

"We're not quite sure when [the maps will] be ready for you squidkids, but we do know that there will be server maintenance tomorrow from 4:50 PM - 6:00 PM PT," said the developer.

There's also a Splatfest coming up on Friday. In North America, it's naughty vs. nice!
