As with most delays, it makes us sad that we don’t get to play the game sooner, but it’s almost always worth the wait to play a more polished and complete version of the title in question. With The Witcher, however, that isn’t exactly the case, since the original game has been out for quite a while now.
Many of you have already given The Witcher a shot, but for those of us who haven’t yet done so, holding out until the improved version was released sounded like the smart thing to do.
As it turns out, we’re going to have to wait longer than we’d hoped for: CD Projekt has announced that The Witcher: Enhanced Edition will be delayed (exact date to be announced soon) in order to make the game “as close to a flawless product as possible.”
To learn more about the improvements being made over the first release of The Witcher and why this delay isn’t really all that bad after all, head on over to game’s official Web site.
