The Phantom Pain trailer gets an ‘Alternative Version’

What are you up to, Joakim Mogren?

Well, that’s two more times I’ve had to watch the trailer for The Phantom Pain, a game announced by Moby Dick Studio at the 2012 Spike VGAs that may or may not be Metal Gear Solid V or connected to the franchise in some currently unforeseen way. Once was to scan this alternative version of the video for anything unusual, and the second was to compare it side by side with the original trailer.

Seemingly the only thing different here is the audio, though it’s entirely possible my strained eyes missed something hidden. What does it all mean? I have a feeling the people working on The Phantom Pain are enjoying the speculation too much to stop messing with us anytime soon.
