The first amiibo cards are up for pre-order

Animal Crossing Series 1

Amazon is now taking pre-orders for the Animal Crossing amiibo cards. Be strong.

100 cards are in Series 1 and they're being sold in packs of six for $5.99. Currently, Amazon is limiting orders to four packs per person, though that may change once the cards release on September 25, 2015 alongside Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer.

These will work with 3DS (if you have the NFC reader, or simply own a New 3DS) and Wii U. Although I don't care about the cards for their in-game functionality, I do like how they look.
