In first-person shooters, your crosshair is one of the most important things to consider aside from your aim. It’s your reticle, and it needs to be as unobtrusive and effective as possible.

That’s why we’ve put together a list of the best Valorant crosshairs for you to try out.

Best Valorant Crosshairs from Pro Players

Pro players are the best source of inspiration for your Valorant crosshair flair. After all, they’re the ones who’ve mastered the game and know exactly what works for them. If you have the same playing style with one  of these pros, then their crosshair just might be the perfect fit for you too.

TenZ’s cyan crosshair helps it stand out from the background since it’s not a color that is used in the maps. This makes it easier to track the crosshair as you’re moving and aiming.

cNed’s crosshair looks like the default crosshair, only smaller. It can be a great starting point for new players.

Conversely, ShahZam took the thicker approach to crosshairs. The green hue and black outline can make it easier for players to track enemies, and the thick shape means that there’s less chance of losing the crosshair off of an enemy’s model.

Derke also has a fine crosshair that simply looks like a dot. In fact, some may even consider it too small that the player has to focus on it, which may be the entire point of this crosshair setting—by helping boost shooting accuracy.

Asuna

Asuna‘s Valorant crosshair is one of the most unique. He opted to switch off the inner lines and, instead, use the outer lines to guide his aim. This results in a crosshair that’s both open and easy to see through while still giving you the reference points you need to hit your shots.

Valorant Crosshair Settings

Crosshair Settings
Screenshot by Destructoid

You’ll find the Settings icon at the upper right corner of the game’s home screen. The Crosshair section is one of the tabs at the top of the screen. You’ll find two subsections named General and Primary.

In general, you can save your crosshair profile, use advanced options, and even disable the crosshair. Meanwhile, in the Primary subsection, you can configure your Valorant crosshair to your preference.

These are the options you’ll see:

Crosshair Color

The color of your crosshair is an important factor in helping you line up your shots. In general, it’s best to use a color that will contrast well with the environment and enemies. For example, if you’re playing on a map with a lot of green, then using a green crosshair might not be the best idea.

There are a few different colors that are popular among Valorant players. Red is often used because it’s easy to see against most backgrounds. White is also a popular choice because it provides good contrast against dark surfaces.

In Episode 5 Act 2, Riot rolled out the Custom crosshair color feature. Now, players can tweak the color to the exact level or shade they want, aside from the previous preset colors of White, Green, Yellow Green, Green Yellow, Cyan, Pink, and Red.

Outlines

The Outlines can give your crosshair more contrast against the background. This is useful if you’re having trouble seeing your crosshair against bright surfaces or if you want to make your crosshair more visible in general.

You can toggle the Outlines on or off. Additionally, you can also configure their opacity and thickness.

Center Dot

The center dot is what most players use to aim. As such, if it’s not in the right place, you’re not going to hit your shots.  For a lot of pro players, though, the center dot is negligible since they already opt for small crosshairs.

On the other hand, most beginner players feel more comfortable with a big, bold center dot that’s easy to see. So, if you’re just starting out, we recommend setting up your game’s center dot to a size that works well with your aim.

Overrides

The Override Firing Error Offset With Crosshair Offset feature is generally disabled since it can interfere with your aim. However, it can actually help new players since it makes the top lines of the crosshair fade when your spray is off target.

Meanwhile, we recommend keeping the Override All Primary Crosshairs with My Primary Crosshair feature turned off so that you can see your teammates’ crosshairs during a match. It can give you inspiration for your own crosshair settings.

Inner and Outer Lines

The inner and outer lines in the Valorant crosshair settings allow you to display or remove the lines. It also enables you to adjust the opacity, length, thickness, and offset. Additionally, you can set the inner and outer lines to adjust to movement and firing dynamically.
