Based on the reviews that have come out so far it doesn’t sound like you’ll be missing out on much, but word came in today that the PC version of the Terminator Salvation game is being recalled (the console versions are fine). Apparently, a large number of the CDs suffered from a ‘manufacturing defect’, causing any attempt to install the game to fail with an “Error Code: -5006 : 0x80070002” message.

If you REALLY want to play Terminator Salvation though, don’t worry. Evolved Games has already pulled all the copies off the shelves and will be replacing them soon. If you are one of the few unfortunate souls who bought this game got one of the defective CDs, Evolved will be announcing a way for you to return your game and get a new one sometime relatively soon.
