TERA opens closed beta registration

If you’re interesting in becoming a closed beta tester for En Masse Entertainmen’s upcoming MMO TERA, you can now sign up on the game’s European and American sites. Anyone who registers by January 13 (tomorrow) will get a shot at one of the 1,000 available beta passes, and more players will have a chance at gaining access afterwards.

I really dug the title’s action approach to combat and the shorter, small team dungeons when I played it at gamescom and PAX in 2010. Since I’m still hesitant to jump into the huge timesink that is Star Wars: The Old Republic, TERA might become a more manageable and bite-size addiction when it’s released this Spring. Then again, I thought the same of League of Legends and subsequently lost two weeks to that.
