Tango Gameworks artwork is creeping us out

Last week, Zenimax announced that it had acquired Tango Gameworks, the new studio of Resident Evil creator, Shinji Mikami. Little details on the studios first project were revealed, but the very idea of a new game from the man who arguably birthed the survival horror genre is certainly thrilling.

This week, the studio has posted mysterious images on its blog, and well… it’s making me a bit uneasy. The illustrations depict, um… you know, I don’t know what the hell this is. I see two bug-like creatures in one drawing, and the other shows a creepy duo dumping what appears to be a bowl of water into a tiny pond, which is home to a human skull.

Hey Tango, Halloween was yesterday. Stop screwing with my nerves.
