Sure, why not: Games for Windows LIVE 3.0 is here

Recommended Videos

Now I know quite a few of you are perfectly fine with having Steam on your system and nothing else, but believe me when I say there are a group of people who are really into Games for Windows LIVE. This news — even though they probably know about it already — is for them.

The newest version of GFWL, version 3.0, brings in-game storefronts a la Rock Band, “roaming saved games and settings,” and zero-day piracy protection for the developers. To me, this update seems to be more about getting new devs to support the service than anything else, which isn’t a bad idea.

Read more about the features here, download the update by clicking this link, and try to keep the comments section semi-civil, just this once. Actually, feel free to post irrelevant and slightly immoral pictures, if you want. But don’t tell old man Chester I said it was okay.
