In less than a week, an army of automatons will fight wars on your computer screen. If you told someone from the 19th century about this, they’d flip the eff out. Think about it!
Or, if you’d rather start playing Supreme Commander 2 like, right now, you have the option to do so. As of yesterday afternoon, there’s a demo with two playable missions. Beyond that, Square Enix and Valve wanted to make sure we all realized Sup Com 2 will be jumping in bed with Steamworks.
What that means for you is automatic updates, achievements, and in-game DLC, among other things. Oh, and don’t forget that pre-purchasing the game knocks a few bucks off the total price — five, to be exact.
