Hot for Hunger Games? How about Canabalt? Never heard of ’em? God damn it son, what’s wrong with you?! Culture is happening RIGHT NOW, and you’re the only dingus in town who’s missing out!

The Hunger Games is arguably the first big book/movie mythology to truly capture the imagination of the “Call of Duty” generation. The movie just came out, as did the free iOS game. The game has giant robot wasps, which automatically makes it better than the movie. Maybe I’m just biased, as the game was developed by this week’s guest on Sup Holmes?, Adam (Atomic) Saltzman. Adam also developed the award winning Canabalt (available free in browser, as part of the current Humble Indie Bundle for Android, on PSN, and iOS), Gravity Hook, and tons of other games.

Mr. Saltzman and I will be discussing the essence of The Hunger Games, how he tried to capture that essence and harness it for his free app, the strengths and weaknesses of the various platforms he’s developed for, and much more. Join us in the live stream today at 1pm PST/4pm EST. Good times! Yes! We will have them!
