Suikoden series DS game details

The newest in the Suikoden series is going portable, making an apperance on the Nintendo DS as Genso Suikoden Tierkreis.

According to Famitsu, Tierkreis begins after the final fight of the 108 Stars, where only four heroes remain. You’ll play as a member of a peacekeeping group, fending off monsters and baddies attacking your village. While exploring the mountains near your village, you come upon a strange light, which marks the beginning of this new story.

Gameplay consists of parties of four at first, but this is a Suikoden game, so you know your party will grow to an insane size. You’ll be able to pick from your group to make your party later, says IGN.

As of now, Suikoden Tierkreis is only 50% complete, and we’re still waiting on a release date. For now, check out some Famitsu scans in our gallery.
