Wedding bells chime as Fire Emblem Heroes' bridal event returns

It's a nice day for a red wedding, or at least Nintendo seems to think so, as the publisher has released a new trailer for Fire Emblem Heroes, announcing the return of its annual "Bridal" event. Several characters are en route, all dolled up for a memorable trip down the aisle.

Starting tomorrow, the new summoning event sees a quartet of warriors getting ready for their respective Big Days. Radiant Dawn's fearsome "white wolf" Nailah, handsome bird-boy Rafiel, and magical maiden Micaiah will be joined by Fire Emblem Fates' Oboro to make up a stunning wedding party. Each character is decked to the nines in resplendent finery and I'll be sure to come banging on the big window like Hoffman during Nailah's ceremony.

The four matrimonial characters are accompanied by the new story event "Bridal Beloveds," which will seemingly tell the tale of a chaotic battle at the altar itself. Yikes. The new event will go live in-game on May 20 at 00:00 PT / 03:00 ET / 08:00 BST. Let me catch the bouquet, or at least save me some cake to eat in the corner. Alone.

Fire Emblem Heroes is available now on iOS and Android devices.
