Ubisoft provides help for prospective Assassin's Creed cosplayers

Breakdowns of three Chronicles outfits

Say what you will about the Assassin's Creed series and Ubisoft's need to annualized it, but one thing's for sure -- the cosplay that's come out of this scene has been pretty awesome. Whether it's the flowing cloaks or the hidden blades, costumes generally stand out at cons and the like.

To facilitate the hobby, Ubisoft has provided instructions for Shao Jun, Arbaaz Mir, and Nikolai Orelov, the newest assassins on the block, who star in the Chronicles series. It breaks down their outfits as well as their weapons. One could argue that that the executives generally don't care about fans (hence Uplay, microtransactions, and annual releases), but the publisher does do a lot of cool community outreach projects like this.
