Those elusive Super Mario pins were worth the trouble after all

0

That's a nice box!

Did you get 'em? Did you manage to get a hold of those 35th anniversary Mario pins?

Even for people who completed all of the necessary My Nintendo goals way in advance and were around when the pins became available from Nintendo's shop, it was still a mad dash to get an order placed before the servers came crashing down and the supply ran out. It's been one of those years.

In all of the hustle and bustle lately, the pins slipped my mind... until they showed up at my door.

Having gotten my fair share of less-than-stellar collectible gaming stuff over the years, I'm pleasantly surprised by how well they turned out. They're solid. And the box, in particular, is a nice little touch. I'm not sure I'll ever stick them on my laptop bag – I don't want to lose them! – but I'm glad I bought them.

Here are the pins up close with some fresh Halloween candy and a big-ass thing of Tums for scale.

It was a hell of a delivery day at the Devore household.
