There's a lot to unpack in this new Cyberpunk 2077 trailer

The Night City Wire stream started with a bang

CD Projekt Red aired a new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 during this morning's Night City Wire stream, and god dang – there's so much to unpack. One, two, three watchthroughs? Not enough. I need more.

According to lead quest designer PaweĊ‚ Sasko, this footage represents the prologue. In other words, just "the first few quests." Our protagonist, V, is after a "chip of immortality," and it won't come easily.

Sasko says the designers "have learned so much" since The Witcher 3, and they're aiming for no filler.

The more I see of Cyberpunk 2077, the more I appreciate the delay to November 19. Let's go.

The next episode of Night City Wire is coming in "just a few weeks."
