SteamWorld Heist launches next week on 3DS, with an exclusive theme

Wii U, PS4, XB1, PC, Vita coming later

Developer Image & Form has announced that its follow-up to Steamworld Dig, Heist, will launch next week on December 10, on 3DS for $20 ($16.99 until December 31). The other versions (PC, PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, Vita) will arrive at a later date. Purchasing the game before the end of the month will also net you a free theme, which will supposedly never return to the storefront after that time.

For those who aren't aware, Heist is set in the same universe as Dig, but it takes a decidedly different turn. Instead of focusing on platforming and digging for loot, Heist is a strategy RPG. Copies will be out in the wild starting today, so stay tuned for more thoughts.
