Poochy & Yoshi shorts are cute as hell, easy to take out of context

It's wholesome I promise

There's something to be said about emotive art. Whether it's gibberish talk like Banjo Kazooie or pantomiming, I love that a common development issue like a lack of a budget can lead to some amazing characters that say so much without speaking at all.

That's what Nintendo did with this pair of Yoshi skits promoting Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World, which drops on the 3DS next month in the west. They're just under a minute each (one is Japanese, but that doesn't matter much), and worth watching.

And if you're wondering about the header image, he's just trying to get Poochy to flip him up for a ride. Don't get any ideas!
