Microsoft reveals 'Gears Tactics,' a strategy-based Gears of War joint

For PC

Not one, but three Gears of War games were confirmed today during Microsoft's E3 conference -- Gears Pop, Gears of War 5, and Gears Tactics.

Putting that IP to good use, Microsoft explains that the latter is a full-on strategy game thrusting the series into a "genre it's never seen before." They promise big boss battles as well as normal skirmishes; and it'll come to PC eventually.

Okay, I'm tentatively interested if they can make it remotely as fun as the new XCOM incarnation.
