Horror-tinged platformer Inmost knows how to make an entrance

One to watch for 2019

Stardew Valley publisher Chucklefish sure can pick 'em. The company's latest selection is Inmost, a story-driven puzzle-platformer from Hidden Layer Games that looks astounding in motion.

I'm getting a nice Another World vibe from the way gameplay and cinematic sequences intersect.

As you might've noticed in the footage, Inmost has a trio of protagonists. You'll need to keep all of them safe from shadowy beasts. "The narrative is intricate and set across two worlds, weaving together a tale of suffering, sacrifice and a family stuck in the middle of it all," according to Chucklefish.

What else can I say? This looks fantastic. It's currently targeting a PC release in 2019.
