GTA Online's Contraband Week brings discounts, races and double dollars

Smuggler's Run

Shady gun-running types will want to get their dodgy dealings underway, as Rockstar have begun a bonus-popping Contraband Week for the insanely popular GTA Online.

During the promotion's run, bunker-made materials will bag players double the amount of GTA dollars and RP through Sell Missions. Not only that, but the shifty merchandise will also be produced in half the amount of time. For those of you yet to begin your underground empire, now is a good time to start, as the game's various bunkers are up to 50% off in price.

The double-dollar bonus has also been applied to all in-game Target Assault Races. Speaking of racing, a new Premium Race has arrived in the form of The Loop, while players who want to test themselves can burn into new Time Trial on the Great Ocean Highway.

As well as all of the above, there is a discount on a range of gear, vehicles and weaponry. Contraband week is live now in GTA Online and is expected to finish around April 16.
