First screens for Samurai Warriors 4: Empires

PC, PS4, PS3, Vita

We're still waiting on Samurai Warriors 4-II (pictured above), the expanded version of last year's Samurai Warriors 4. It's coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita October 2 in Europe, September 29 in the US.

Meanwhile, Japan will be on Samurai Warriors 4: Empires by September 3.

Empires is based on Samurai Warriors 4-II and features no new warlords. It does feature the "Resident Internal Affairs" command room, from where you can assign warlords duties by managing their placement and taking nearby warlords' compatibility into account, according to Gematsu. There are even marriage events, "not just between the Musou warlords, but also between edited warlords and general warlords."

The first screenshots of Empires in the gallery come from Famitsu.
