E3: New Super Mario Bros. 2 goes through the motions

As we heard earlier today, New Super Mario Bros. 2 has been dated for August 19, 2012 by Nintendo. To coincide with this information, we've got a new trailer for the game that can only be described as follows: "Coins. Coins everywhere."

Don't get me wrong, I'm going to buy this game and likely have a good time playing it, but it's sad that the parts of this video which interest me most are little more than throwbacks to older Mario titles. The Reznors are back? Okay, Nintendo -- you've got me. I still don't care for the art style of this series, though.
