Featuring Wizards & Warriors X and Kansas.
Greetings fellow game music lovers,
today we start a new month featuring one of Rares - and the gaming industries overall - prolific composers, David Wise. He started out as a part-time composer for the company after demonstrating them his work for the Yamaha CX5 Music Computer before he joined as a full time employee in 1994. Among his most popular scores are his works for the Battletoads and Donkey Kong Country series. In December 2009, he left the company to found his own studio.
We start David Wise month with some of his early works for Rares Wizards & Warriors series, more specifically Chapter X, the gameboy game (1990). The title theme consists of a powerful rock track that sets you up for the journey before you:

What happened to W&Ws part IV - IX anyways?
