THQ seems to be on a roll lately with highly promising games. Having just released Vigil’s Darksiders, the publisher more commonly associated with MMA and Disney licenses is starting to put out some pretty solid original games as well, and Metro 2033 is one of them.
Metro 2033 seems to blend the Russian claustrophobia of Cryostasis with the post-apocalyptic premise of Fallout, and so far, all signs point to it being a very good title indeed. These brand new screens help to demonstrate the bleak atmosphere of the game. Sometimes, grey and brown colors can look beautiful in a rather grim way, and I think Metro 2033 may nail that down.
