Steam Hardware's early stock is sold out

November 10 release date for the rest

Were you hoping to get your hands on one of those early release versions of the Steam Controller, the Steam Link, or a Steam Machine when they come out in October?

Well bad news, they’re all sold out. If you pre-order them through Steam now, you’ll be on the list to get them on their actual release date of November 10. Or you could wait until the early adopters get them, see how they like them, and then just buy after that. Let those lucky bastards be the guinea pigs.

The Steam Controller has been through a lot of design changes since it was announced, but the overall impression I’ve had from people who’ve given it a try has been positive.

Have you had a chance to try one out? Feel free to smugly gloat at me.
