Square Enix has confirmed that it will bring Final Fantasy Gaiden to international audiences under the new name of The 4 Heroes of Light. Apparently, use of the numerical symbol for four IS important.

4 Heroes is a decidedly classic JRPG for the Nintendo DS where characters sacrifice battle turns to charge up powerful spells instead of relying on Magic Points. Characters can also change classes in a manner similar to the old school job system, wearing different crowns in order to gain new stats and abilities.

Should be a charming little title and it's good to know that it's finally heading Westward. Hopefully it arrives sooner rather than later.
