As the massive cargo plane came hurtling towards me I slammed on my brakes and swerved to the side, my car narrowly missing the nose of the plane and just squeezing under the wing as the plane scraped forward demolishing the car next to me. I let out a breath of air — but too soon!

One of the engines on the plane had gotten knocked off and as bouncing down the road behind the plane, sparks flying. It was headed straight for me. I couldn’t do anything but watch as we quickly neared each other.

Bounce. Clang. Bounce.

It landed inches from the front of my hood and went spinning over the top of my car. I swerved into a turn and continued on with the race wondering what poor shmuck just got cold clocked by a plane’s engine.

That happened while I was playing Split/Second. It wasn’t planned, it just happened. And sh*t like that happens every lap, not just once during some grand finale. Watch the video. They’ll explain how.
