New update adds mode, fixes bugs

While Spelunky is great no matter where you play it, the console versions have been at a disadvantage to the PC release and its Daily Challenge mode, which allows players to compete by playing in a shared set of stages everyone gets only one shot at each day. If you have the game for PlayStation 3 or PS Vita, rejoice, for the Daily Challenge is now yours to undertake as well.

Along with the new mode, today's update brings a few fixes. Slowdown which was occurring in some areas has now been addressed and bugs relating to unlocking trophies have been resolved.

I love the Daily Challenge, as you may know if you watched the video series Jordan and I made revolving around it. I've only recently gone back and started playing daily again. The gravitational pull of the game remains strong and I think I'm going to embark on a personal mission to clear Hell on a Daily. Who's with me?
