Sony to reveal a surprise sequel this week

Is this the theme of the day? Teases for reveals?

GameTrailers TV is supposed to reveal a “surprise sequel” from Sony this week. Eurogamer points out that the show’s promo shows clips of Heavy Rain, God of War 3 and Uncharted 2, as if they were supposed to be some kind of hint. Many are betting on Resistance 3, which I’d say is a pretty solid bet seeing as how there’s already billboards with the name on it.

What else? Maybe a LittleBigPlanet? That would be good timing after the Sony buy-up of Media Molecule. New Killzone? Too soon? Warhawk?

You’ll have to have it the way GameTrailers wants it and watch their show to find out first. Or, if you’d rather sleep, we’ll tell you bright and early the next morning.

Honestly, if it’s any of the above, I’m with the cat (above). Don’t call it a surprise and have it be something obvious, Sony.
