Sony bringing The Last of Us Part II to Madrid Games Week

0

Possibly a release date, too

Some of the mystery surrounding The Last of Us Part II will be revealed soon. After a media event planned for next week, Sony will be bringing Naughty Dog's latest to the Madrid Games Week event in early October. The official Spanish PlayStation Blog notes that both Last of Us and Death Stranding will be present at the show with some kind of exclusive content.

If you were hoping for a playable demo, sadly that won't be happening. Sony specifically mentions which titles will have playable builds (MediEvil, Dreams, Concrete Genie, Nioh 2, and Predator: Hunting Grounds) and Ellie's return isn't among them. At the very least, we're likely to see new footage or possibly get a release date -if that doesn't happen at the media event the week prior-.

Madrid Games Week will be held from October 3 to October 6 in Madrid, Spain.
