SOEDESCO announces 8-Bit Armies Limited Edition, out in December


Out December 14 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One

SOEDESCO has just announced their second release in their line of Limited Edition packages for digital games. Following in the footsteps of the glorious Owlboy run, 8-Bit Armies will see a Limited Edition on December 14, 2018 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Similar to the first limited release, 8-Bit Armies comes packaged in a gold-embossed box packed with a bunch of cool goodies, including:

  • Base game - The epic 8-Bit Armies base game, developed by Petroglyph
  • Soundtrack Rocking tunes from legendary composer Frank Klepacki
  • Manual Everything you always wanted to know about 8-Bit Armies but were afraid to
  • ask
  • Skull Bandana Exclusive headwear with a skull print, based on one of the 8-Bit units
  • Flag To play a real life round of capture the flag
  • 3 Precious Pins in 8-Bit style, showing three different units
  • Patch that can be applied to any outfit
  • 12 Postage Stamps featuring the iconic characters from the game
  • Papercraft Tank Brush up your DIY skills and create your own tank
  • Dogtag Premium metal tag to wear around your neck

The release will be limited to 6,000 copies for each platform, so be on the lookout for pre-orders once they go open. No price has been announced yet, but Owlboy LE launched at $69.99 so that's probably a good ballpark figure.

8-Bit Armies releases digitally for PS4 and Xbox One on September 21, and if you're lucky you can snag one of the limited physical releases later this year.
