SOE bringing Plants vs. Zombies and more to PSN

There are zombies on PlayStation 3 owners’ lawns and, thanks to Sony Online Entertainment, they’ll be able to take care of that soon.

It’s been announced today that SOE will be publishing PopCap’s popular lawn-defense title, Plants vs. Zombies, for PlayStation Network this February. No word on whether the PSN version will bring extras over the recently released Xbox Live Arcade title, but there’s no need — the game’s awesome as it is.

SOE isn’t stopping there, as it’s also announced plans to bring five more titles to PSN this year.

Rockin’ Android is back with Acceleration of Suguri X Edition, a frantic Japanese shoot ’em up that has players blasting the crap out of robots with flying anime girls.

Slam Bolt Scrappers, Fire Hose Games’ block-dropping, puzzle, brawler mash-up is scheduled for a March releasing, according to the developer.

Ninja Bee is letting players visit Akimi Village, where they’ll get their resource gathering on to “help rid Akimi Island of lingering gloom.”

Sideway is… well, I don’t know what kind of game it is. So here’s the description: “Set against the gritty art culture in New York City, Sideway follows the adventures of Nox, a 2D rebellious young artist, as he navigates the 3D urban streets. This audacious new PlayStation Network exclusive by Playbrains  and Fuel Industries is scheduled to launch this spring.”

And finally, Rochard has players bending gravity as space miner John Rochard. Apparently, he’s looking for aliens in this Recoil Games developed side-scrolling puzzler.

Nice line up, for sure. I have my eye on Slam Bolt Scrappers, which I’m hearing great things about. Anything jump out at you?
