Hey UK! You like television? You like your 360? Why not have both! Sky, the UK’s largest provider of prescription television, has announced that they will be offering up their live television pumped into your 360. In the UK and Ireland those with a 360 and the internet will be able to access Sky’s Sky Player and subscribe to a boat load of live television and on demand services come this autumn. It’s TV through your 360 and it sounds pretty sweet.

There’s no price for all this yet, nor is there a line-up of channels coming, but judging by the UK and Ireland’s general love of all things soccer (known oddly as “football” over there) we’re going to guess that there will be plenty of Premiere League Football to watch on Microsoft’s console. On top of this will most likely be movies and a plethora of television programming that Sky already airs.

Seems to me that this could really move some 360s in Europe. Not that the console does poorly over there, but lumping in yet another awesome feature on it couldn’t hurt.
