Mark Meer might have considered eloping with a microphone over the summer. The Mass Effect 2 voice actor told RPG Site that he spent “most” of last summer doing voice work as Commander Shepard, no doubt getting real close and comfortable with the curves of sultry audio equipment as he spent “twice as much time in the booth” as he did for the original Mass Effect.

“I spent most of last summer recording my ME2 dialogue — it’s huge.” Meer emphasized the last word. “I’d estimate that I spent at least twice as much time in the booth as I did for the first game.”
