Sega indoor theme park opens in Dubai

Ah, Dubai. It’s become one of the fastest developed cities in the world and offers some unique attractions. Now, it’s the home to a 76,000 square foot Sega theme park.

The theme park has 150 amusement games spread out into five themed zones — Speed, Adventure, Sports, Cyberpop and Redemption. The park also has nine rides with names like Spin Gear, Sonic Hopper, Initial D4 limited and so on.

The Spin Gear sounds like a really awesome ride. Dubai Chronicle describes it as a roller coaster where two people face each other and spin in circles as they go down the track. The Spin Gear is also the theme parks largest ride as it takes up more than 20 percent of the total area in the park.
