SDCC: Bulletproof zombies added to Left 4 Dead 2’s roster

Maybe it’s just me, but talking about Left 4 Dead 2 in the same way you would a fighting game is ridiculously fun. It allows me to say things like “bulletproof zombies, confirmed!” and oddly enough I get a kick out of it saying such silly things.

Valve has been showing the game off at Comic-Con, and Kotaku had the opportunity to check out a new type of uncommon infected, bulletproof zombies. The kevlar-wearing infected are only vulnerable in one spot, their backs, but they can be stunned from a melee attack. Also, they’re dressed in full riot gear. Pics, please!

Each new piece of information on the game, no matter how small it is, has been slowly converting me to the cause. I can honestly say I’m still not terribly excited for Left 4 Dead 2, but if Valve keeps up the steady flow of new details, I will be by the time November rolls around.
