We knew it couldn’t possibly be long before the new game based on Scott Pilgrim vs. The World would be hitting the consoles. After all, the film is out in less than a month now and why on Earth would they pass up the cross-promotional opportunity?
Well, now we know when the game will be released. The PlayStation 3 gets first crack, with Pilgrim dropping in the PSN store on August 10th, three days prior to the theatrical release. Xbox 360 fans will have to wait a couple more weeks to get their hands on it, as it will release on that platform August 25th.
I have next to zero interest in Scott Pilgrim as either a comic or a film. I’m sure both are lovely as there is much praise for the property but I just can’t get into it. The game, however, has me salivating. So, I’ll definitely be picking it up for PS3.
