Save your coins! Overwatch's Winter Wonderland begins next week

0

A beautiful sight

Overwatch will soon begin spreading holiday joy. Blizzard is running the in-game Winter Wonderland event from December 11, 2018 to January 2, 2019 with a decked-out makeover for the Blizzard World map along with more seasonal character skins and returning cosmetics you might've missed.

Past Winter Wonderland skins include Yeti Winston (a personal favorite), Peppermint Sombra (cute), Beachrat Junkrat (also cute), and Nutcracker Zenyatta (burn it to ash). There's plenty of opportunity for more holiday-inspired outfits, so I hope the new outfits aren't all just icy and wintry.

I'd love to see the artists pay tribute to darker Christmastime movies like Die Hard and Gremlins.
