Level up and find loot
Sacred Citadel is going to be a side-scrolling brawler with "crazy co-op" and now Deep Silver has released more about how the game will feature a lot of role-playing elements. Characters will level up, learn new abilities, find loot, visit towns, and fight orcs. To me this doesn't sound like a game with "role-playing elements" -- it sounds like a role-playing game with "side-scrolling brawler elements."
No matter how you want to look at it, it sounds like it's going to be a fun game. The Sacred series has always been enjoyable, and switching the play style could make this into an interesting game. I'm always up for anything with fantasy role-playing bits involved, so I'm definitely looking forward to this one.
