Rumortoid: Sony’s Home hacked

Recommended Videos

Don’t put too much stock into this one, because… well, we haven’t seen it yet.

If the rumors are true, then one user has successfully hacked into PlayStation Home’s servers, letting him upload, download, and delete files at his leisure. StreetskaterFU is the person said to have come up with the method to hack in.

Engadget says that a PS3hax forum member claims to have been able to change the movie posters and trailers out in Home using FU’s method.

Man, if this does work, it is a lot of trouble to go through to see pictures and videos that you could already see via your computer. I suppose it would be fun to force your interests on others. I’d upload corgi puppy videos and horny Japanese idol videos to the public screens for fun.
