Rocket League is getting the 007 Aston Martin Valhalla this week

No time to dive for the goal

If you’ve been looking for a new ride for the Rocket League pitch, a suave set of wheels is on its way that should fit the bill. The 007 Aston Martin Valhalla will be joining the Rocket League garage on Oct. 7.

The Valhalla is the second 007 car to make it into Rocket League. Previously, the Aston Martin DB6 was also available, and both will be available again starting on Oct. 7 in a Bond 007 Collection for 2000 Credits. The Valhalla will be available for 1100 Credits on its own, from Oct. 7 through 13.

Alongside the car itself, which sports the Dominus Hitbox, the Valhalla also includes a “Reel Life Decal” specific to 007’s ride, unique Engine Audio, and its own Wheels.

Developer Psyonix will also be hosting three in-game Challenges with their own 007 rewards. Beating them will unlock the Aston Martin DB5 Player Banner, the Agent 007 Avatar Border, and the “00 Agent” Player Title for Rocket League players.

All of this coincides with the U.S. premiere of No Time to Die, the latest Bond film to hit the silver screen, on Oct. 8, 2021. But even if it’s loosely related to a film, I have to admit: it’s a pretty sweet car. Not sure if you’re supposed to play rocket car soccer in such a fancy ride, but video games are a form of escapism, I suppose.

Rocket League is free to play on all platforms.
